Corporate Building Decorations

A high-impact yet elegant Christmas decoration package was sought that would align with Woodside Energy’s corporate identity and enhance the architectural aesthetics of this landmark building. The design needed to be visually impressive, adaptable for fresh yearly displays, and seamlessly integrated into the sophisticated interiors of the space.

Dec the Malls developed a premium hire package annually, balancing traditional and contemporary Christmas elements. Each year, the entrance foyer has showcased an Australian animal-inspired light display, while additional décor elements created a consistent visual theme throughout the building.

Key Features:

Ground Floor Foyer Decorations:

• Feature Lighting Displays: Stunning illuminated sculptures of Australian animals, many designed exclusively for Dec the Malls, create a breath-taking welcome to the building. Displays have included:
  • A 4m high faceted, origami Kangaroo with warm white lighting and reflective surfaces.
  • A 5.5m tall origami Koala perched on a branch.
  • A 3.5m high faceted Cockatoo with silver and white reflective details, sitting on a golden tree branch.
  • A 4.5m tall Black Swan – one of Perth’s iconic symbols.
  • A 3m high Frilled Neck Lizard perched on an illuminated rock and surrounded by spinifex grass.
  • A 3m tall display featuring WA’s state animal, the Numbat, accompanied by a grass tree and spinifex grass.
• Warm White Curtain Lighting: including 20% random flash – located above the entrance to the lift lobbies.
• Luxe Golden Floor Pod:  containing richly decorated Christmas trees and a variety of motif displays.

Upper Floor Decorations:

• A magnificent 6.5 m high feature Christmas tree adorned in luxe gold decorations in the Woodside Energy co-working space.
• A gold and champagne coloured throne to complement the feature Christmas tree.
• A pod display featuring a smaller tree and two gold reindeer, and additional decorated trees and table displays for the executive spaces.

The decorations created a festive yet sophisticated environment, enhancing the visitor and tenant experience. The hire model has allowed Dexus and Woodside Energy to refresh the displays annually, keeping the décor engaging and aligned with corporate branding.

The designs have complemented the architectural aesthetics, with premium quality finishes that reinforced a sense of elegance and exclusivity. Over the years, Dec the Malls has remained responsive to the changing needs of the clients, ensuring a tailored and evolving festive display that consistently meets expectations.
