Corporate Christmas Decorations

Located in the heart of Perth’s CBD, Westralia Square is a landmark A-grade office property adjacent to Brookfield Place. In 2024, its recently completed neighbour, Westralia Square 2 (WS2) — Perth’s first high-rise timber office building and a Premium grade asset — was included in the property’s corporate Christmas decorations strategy.

To create a welcoming, festive atmosphere for tenants, clients, and visitors, Dec the Malls was engaged to deliver high-quality, professionally installed Christmas decorations for both Westralia Square buildings on a hire, installation, and removal basis.

The building management team sought to enhance the seasonal atmosphere within both lobbies while creating a premium, cohesive look across the two distinct buildings. It was important that the decorations aligned with the architectural features and aesthetics of each space while providing visual continuity. Additionally, the project needed to be delivered with minimal operational disruption, requiring an experienced supplier capable of managing installation and removal within a commercial office environment.

The decorations provided for the Westralia Square lobby have included:

• A 4m Christmas tree decorated with warm white lights, rich copper and gold baubles and leaves, topped with a striking golden star,
• A complementary, 1.5m golden star light motif (previously a golden reindeer light motif),
• A matching 2.4m Christmas tree at a secondary lobby location, and
• Two golden nutcrackers positioned at key entry points to greet guests.

For the Westralia Square 2 lobby we provided:

• Two 2.4m lit Christmas trees with reflective gold bases and festive bow toppers, complementing the building’s contemporary timber interiors, and
• An eye-catching, red nutcracker positioned at the lift lobby to engage visitors and tenants.

The cohesive decoration scheme successfully connected both properties while respecting the unique architectural characteristics of each lobby space. The final result delivered a warm, premium festive atmosphere that enhanced the tenant experience and added a striking visual feature for guests and clients arriving during the holiday season. Positive feedback highlighted the value of investing in professionally managed, high-impact seasonal displays within commercial office buildings.
