Masterchef Pop-Up Kitchen
Phoenix Shopping Centre
Dec the Malls was engaged by Phoenix Shopping Centre to create an inspiring pop-up kitchen to host cooking demonstrations by previous Masterchef contestant, Brendan Pang.
Features
As for all cooking demonstrations, ensuring good visibility for audience members along with providing full functionality for the chef were important considerations in the design. An open, clearly visible benchtop and TV monitors were important inclusions, while the graphics at the rear of the display and the furniture, greenery and props created an absorbing atmosphere.
Other inclusions in the pop-up kitchen were:
- Microwave
- Electric and induction cooktops
- Refrigerator
- Small oven
- Electric frypan
- Stainless steel preparation bench
- Display preparation bench
