Midland Gate
Midland Gate in Perth’s eastern suburbs held the Grand Opening of the second stage of its $100 million redevelopment in November 2018. In preparation for the event, Dec the Malls undertook a tenancy activation designed to coordinate with the newly extended area.
The space provided a connection to the history of the local area, using historical photography sourced from the Midland and Districts Historical Society. It was planned to allow for a short to medium term coffee vendor to operate within the tenancy, creating a popular community area.
Dec the Malls also created the set for the front window display of the new extension, with the finishes in the window display and tenancy activation complementing one another.
